My name is Joakim Erdugan, and I’m originally from Linköping, Sweden.
Sports have always been part of my life. Growing up, I played football (soccer), floorball, and ice hockey—but hockey was the one that stuck. I spent four years in one of Sweden’s top U20 hockey programs, where I had the chance to compete at the highest junior level. During that time, our team won the national championship once and took third place in the World Cup of Club Teams in Russia, where I finished second in overall scoring.
After that, I played professional hockey in Sweden for four years and spent a season in the top league in France. But at 25, I made the difficult decision to step away from the game. I had lost my love for hockey and wanted to explore other parts of life. What followed was a journey — not just across the world but into new ways of living. I traveled, tried different lifestyles, and faced some serious challenges with my health. At one point, I lost the ability to walk without severe foot pain for over a year and a half. It was one of the toughest times of my life.
The way out of that hole was through a complete shift in how I approached health. I dived deep into nutrition, training, recovery, and mindset. I rebuilt myself—physically and mentally. That journey led me back to hockey.
Today, I’m back competing as one of the top scorers in the AIHL (Australian Ice Hockey League)—but I’m doing it healthier, stronger, and smarter than ever before. Now, my mission is to help others do the same.
Whether you’re an athlete looking to level up your game, someone wanting to feel stronger, move better, and live healthier, or you just need guidance on where to start—I’m here to coach you. I know what it’s like to compete at the top level, and I know what it’s like to start over from scratch. That experience gives me a unique perspective on training, recovery and human potential.
